Hi I've dled TortoiseSVN and I was reading it's manual on how to install subversion. However, when I turned on wamp, it said service error and didn't specifiy what the error really was.

Does anyone know how to configure subversion on apache?? can someone please help? Thx!

What version of Apache was included with you Wamp installer?

Subversion is not supported on Apache 2.2, thus will not work with the latest wamp.. which is a let down tbh.

According to this thread:

[svnforum.org]

Subversion 1.3.2 is compatible with Apache 2.2. (Latest is 1.3.3, which I also assume is compatible.)

i have tortoiseSVN as well for my work on the BitPIM program through sourceforge... i haven't had a single problem yet..... you might wanna check what ports your have and the name of the service for tortoise...... i left everything pretty much "default" when i installed it....

lemme know what you come up with....
