WampServer

I've had wamp running for a couple of years now and it's always worked fine in fact it's been a life saver for me. But I just loaded the latest 1.6.3 and now I can't get it to work everything loads without error but then monitor only shows 1 of 2 services running everything with Apache is grayed out except - test port 80 (which I did and nothing is using port 80), Install Services (which I tried , a dos window opens which say port 80 is available press enter to continue- I do this but then the dos box closes and nothing happens)

I am working behind a router but that to has been in place as long as wamp. I've removed and reinstalled it seveeral times but always get the same results Apache doesn't run.
