MySQL not starting

Since some time wampserver refuses to start mySQL. Apache / MariaDB start fine. Things I checked

* There is not another mysql running and the designated port is free
* Repaired the wampserver.ini
* reinstalled all vc++
* ran mysqld.exe manually (it works fine)
* log files mysql.log is empty

I installed a 8.0.27 but it does not show up in the menu. If I click any of the Service Start/Stop/Restart button nothing happens and the menu stays open.

How can I repair the MySQL section of wampserver without compromising the working parts?

Hi,

> State of services:
The wampmysqld64 service does not appear in the list. This may mean that MySQL has been disabled.

- 1 - Exit Wampserver

- 2 - Verify that all VC ++ packages are installed and with the latest versions.
To do this, use the tool:
Checks VC++ packages installed
Do not use a previously loaded tool. Make a new download to make sure you are using the correct version.[/u)
To download missing packages, do not rely on Microsoft links, they are not reliable, download packages on http://wampserver.aviatechno.net in section Visual C++ Redistribuable Packages
Do not forget that if you have a 64 bit Windows, you must install both 32 and 64 bit versions of each package.
You must install each package "as an administrator", so right-click the exe file and then run as Administrator.

- 3 - If it is not already done, apply Update 3.2.7 to your version of Wampserver
Wampserver update 3.2.7

- 4 - Launch Wampserver

- 5 - Right-Click -> Restart from zero

- 6 - Verify that MySQL is allowed
Right-Click -> Wamp settings -> Allow MySQL to check it

Note: To make a complete report of the Wampserver configuration, there is an integrated tool that automatically performs all the operations and avoids multiple copy/paste, it is :

Right-Click -> Tools -> Create Wampserver configuration report
And, at the end the report file is :
Right-Click -> Tools -> Wampserver Configuration report

mySQL used to run on this machine so I rule out missing redistribution libraries, the current c++ check tool confirms that.

Hi,

Quote

State of services:
The service 'wampapache64' is started
Service Session : LocalSystem

The service 'wampmariadb64' is started
Service Session : LocalSystem

all services are started - it is OK
Since there are only two services and wampmysql64 is not listed, I repeat that this means that MySQL has been disabled on your Wampserver.

Redo point 6 of my previous message.
