When I update wampserver form 3.2.6 to 3.2.9 mariadb stops working. In the check state of services, it reports an error: The service 'wampmysqld64' is NOT started, EXIT error code 0. ???

The service `wampmysqld64` is the MYSQL Service, the mariaDB service is called `wampmariadb64`

What do you mean by `In the check state of services` what did you actually look at?

i have try for one week end to install this update. all the time it was say somethink : ligth orange, and mariaDb not starting ... so i the end because i have to get back on think working i have reinstall new fresh wamp 3.2.6.

this is part of the install it was problem, hope you can see .....

now i'm back to 3.2.6 all work well.

i wanted to make update to 3.2.9 but i'm very scare to block again all !!!

There are no warnings or errors in the copy of the MariaDB log file you gave.
Everything is absolutely normal.

Wampserver updates must be done with Wampserver stopped and "as administrator".

Moreover, it is necessary that the VC++ redistributables are up to date, so :

- Verify that all VC ++ packages are installed and with the latest versions.
To do this, use the tool:
Checks VC++ packages installed
Do not use a previously loaded tool. Make a new download to make sure you are using the correct version.
To download missing packages, do not rely on Microsoft links, they are not reliable, download packages on http://wampserver.aviatechno.net in section Visual C++ Redistribuable Packages
Do not forget that if you have a 64 bit Windows, you must install both 32 and 64 bit versions of each package.
You must install each package "as an administrator", so right-click the exe file and then run as Administrator.
