hi everybody
i am using wamp 3.1.9 64bit on a pc using windows 7 and have an alias named work properly configured.
i am trying to make my work folder (alias) accessible from the internet.
i have done the cnahges i've seen in tutorials.
port forwarding in the modem/router seems to be ok.
when i access the wamp main page using "myip:8080" it loads just right.
when i press phpinfo() it loads ok but when i try to access localhost or work (the alias) instead of trying to load the folder like myip:8080/localhost the url changes to [localhost]. so i cant access the folders or load a webiste.

can someone tell me what am i doing wrong ?
thnaks

You would be better creating a Virtual Host on the standard port 80.

Start by reading THE NEED for VIRTUAL HOSTS

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
(Windows 10 Pro 64bit) (Wampserver 3.3.4 64bit) Aestan Tray Menu 3.2.5.4
<Apache versions MULTIPE> <PHP versions MULTIPLE> <MySQL Versions MULTIPLE>
<MariaDB versions MULTIPLE> <phpMyAdmin versions MULTIPLE> <MySQL Workbench 8.0.23>

Read The Manuals Apache -- MySQL -- PHP -- phpMyAdmin
Get your Apache/MySQL/mariaDB/PHP ADDONs here from the WAMPServer alternate Repo
-X-X-X- Backup your databases regularly Here is How dont regret it later! Yes even when developing -X-X-X-
