Ok, excuse my ignorance but is a personal web server having port 80 secure or not? Let's say I have constant Internet connection (DSL, Cable, etc), wouldn't that be a problem? Is it possible to change my localhost to a different port setting that will still work?

Like [localhost] will still work?

Thanks.

yeap, but you just got to change the port in the httpd.conf file.. at current it will be set at port 80. so if u want an easy way... open it up in notepad and go edit -> replace, type in port 80 to find and type in port 3128 to replace and just go thru and replace all and then file save, and restart apache. if you want ppl to access it outside of your local network tho, u'll *probably* have to port forward that port through your dsl modem.
