Hi. I just installed Wamp on my computer and noticed that it wont let me use the gd-library, i'v read that others have had the same problem. imagecreatefromjpeg() function doesn't wok at all... So i'v tried things like Wamp system icon tray --> apache modules --> Add extension --> php_gd2.dll. And i have uncommented the extension = blablabla.. from php-ini DIST and php-ini(RECOMMENTED)..And i have changet the extension_dir to right on. files but it doesnt work neither. So what can be a problem? I had the same problem with apache 2.0.
Thanks very very very much for any help!

undo all the changes you did, and then go back and enable gd2 with the wamp tray icon, or editing the php.ini file. You should not have edited extension dir setting. After you make any changes to the php.ini file, you need to restart apache for the new settigns to take effect.

Thanks for fast reply. I tried everything you said but it didn't work sad smiley
1. i tried it from icon tray, and it said its allredy configured to php-ini
then i tested. No effect.
2. I uncommented the "gd-line" from php-ini + restarted apache, but it still doesn't work..

when you enable an extention, you need to restart apache for the new settings to take place.

go to [localhost] and make sure there is a GD section there, and that PNG Support is enabled.

make sure you are using GD, not ImageMagick. ImageMagick is not supported on Windows OS.

Hi

I have the same problem with imagecreate.

i have GD section enable and png, jpg enable, php_GD2 extension in pHP is enable(check).

But in apache->apacheModules can't see php_gd2.dll nor can't find the way to add it.

Another suggestion?

Thank in advance.
