has there been or will there be an update for ver.3 so that administrative rights on the local computer no longer is needed?

we are using WampServer in an environment where students cannot have Admin-rights locally.
In WampServer 2.5 this worked fine.

Hi,

Please read Setting up the rights of ordinary users for WampServer

A little Explanation: Remember this is NOT a limitation brought about by WAMPServer, this is because to start a service (wampapache, wampmysqld etc) in windows you need certain privilages not normally granted to a standard user account.

It may be that you dont consider giving your student this privilege is right either, but that linked document explains how is can be done
