localhost/wamp communicate with internet

HI

I have installed wamp on local server as virtual host.

However, I do experience that plugins in WordPress do not communicate with web pages on the internet.


How do I get this local installation to communicate with the internet?

Hi,

Have you installed WordPress in a VirtualHost?

And did this VirtualHost exist BEFORE you installed Wordpress?

Yes I have installed WordPress in a Viritual host and the Viritual host was installed before WordPress.
