PHP files not executing

Hello all.

I have a problem with WAMP where PHP files I have in my localhost area aren't executing at all. I have even just uploaded a simple PHP file with just an echo statement and the echo message isn't being displayed.

When I view the source of the page rather than showing the executed source it shows the actual PHP coding.

Does any one have any idea why this maybe?

Any help would be really appreciated.

also make sure all files that have any php code in them are named .php, not .html or apache will only parse the html code, not the php code.

make sure you put all your website files in your c:\wamp\www folder

make sure you access the your website files using your browser with http
[localhost]

What the hell, I just replied to your own email bij pushing the button reply. Nowhere it says that that is forbidden.
