Hello. I've been trying to install Wampserver on my netbook all day. I've been trying to install it on my D: drive, since it has a lot more space than my C: drive (which is where I have Windows installed). It installs everything just fine, the system tray icon was even green from the get go; but it's completely unresponsive to my left and right clicks and I'm not able to bring up the menus. To my surprise, when I tried installing it on my C drive, the left and right click menus worked just as intended. What could be the problem? I also noticed that on my D: drive install, when trying to run wampmanager, this error appears several times on the php.exe cmd for half a second, which might or not be related to the issue:

[25-Dec-2019 02:11:36 UTC] PHP Warning: symlink(): Cannot create symlink, error code(1) in D:\wamp\scripts\wampserver.lib.php on line 159
[25-Dec-2019 02:11:37 UTC] PHP Warning: symlink(): Cannot create symlink, error code(1) in D:\wamp\scripts\wampserver.lib.php on line 178

I wasn't able to find anything on Google about this issue, and PHP stuff is completely beyond me. Does anyone have any clue what the issue might be? If it's any help, I'm running Wampserver 3.2.0 32 bits on Windows 7, also 32 bits.

Thank you, and happy holidays.

Hi,

Is your D: drive NTFS formatted?

Your D: drive must not be a network drive.
