HI I have installed Wamp 3.2 64 bit on win10 machine.

I am trying to install wordpress but I cannot connect my database to wordpress local host.
I have checked the user name and password to be in synch with the "wp-config.php" file.
I am getting"Error establishing a database connection". System suggests the below options :
This could mean your host’s database server is down.

Are you sure you have the correct username and password? I have verified and the credentials are correct
Are you sure you have typed the correct hostname?I have verified and host name is correct
Are you sure the database server is running?I have created the database in php and it is working.

I am sure lot of you may have faced this issue in the past. Please help...

Hi,

Log in to PhpMyAdmin, validate the "User Accounts" tab.

Does the combination username and password you want to use for the WordPress database appear in the list displayed in the "User Accounts" tab?

Quit PhpMyAdmin then try to log in PhpMyAdmin using the same user name and password you use to connect to WordPresse database.

Try the same operations with Adminer.
