WampServer

It's probably 20years since I last tried anything website related so I'm a little lost, that was back in plain html days.

I cant find how to get Apache running, I've attached a copy of the report, is that enough for you to point me in the right direction

It could still be that port 80 is occupied by "something" so the Apache service cannot start.
It could be by IIS, so please apply point 08 of TROUBLESHOOTING TIPS

Then, if the Apache service still doesn't want to start, we'll check that it's because of the occupation of port 80 by changing the Apache port:

Right-Click -> Tools -> Use a port other than 80 -> Choose 8080

Since this laptop is only for testing/learning how to build/run a website I have been playing around with the settings.

I discovered there were no error logs, so used the options within wamp to create them.

that didn't work

so since I'd already uninstaled skype and disabled iis, I kept going and by trial and error found the answer.

within the Apache tab unser service administration there was an option to install the service.

literally by clicking the install option, closing wamp down and restartiong, it now is in the green zone.
