Connection error

Hello, I have problem with wamp. I changed mysql port and i can connect to phpmyadmin, but when i try to connect my .php flile for connection in ,my database, for my website it shows this "Connection failed : SQLSTATE[HY000] [2054] The server requested authentication method unknown to the client
error." Please help

Hi,

If you change default MySQL port, you must put the port number in the connect process (It is automatically done for PhpMyAdmin)
Why did you change the port number ?
