Switch to MariaDB

I have switch from MySQL to Maria DB (Wamp setting tools), but after that i get thiss error message; Could not connect to database-server (when authenticating)

Hi,
Have you created a database under MariaDB?
Did you export your MySQL database and then import it into MariaDB?
Stop believing in miracles and think that simply switching from MySQL to MariaDB, i.e. putting the MariaDB database manager by default instead of MySQL, will also transfer your databases and users.
Read wamp(64)/mariadb_mysql.txt or Right-click wampmanager tray icon -> MariaDB - MySQL
