mysqli: (HY000/2002) problem

I am new to WAMP and MySQL, tried to login to phpMyAdmin in WAMP + Windows 10. But cannot log in to the MySQL server when I tried to login as root ( no password ) ,mysqli_real_connect(): (HY000/2002)
mysqli.log and apche.log as follow:
