Could not execute menu (internal error)... httpd.config

Hello all.
I have been using my apache for testing my web site. It works fine for the other sites that I've used over the last few months, but I was working on some exercise files and setting up test site manually(usually do it thru DW).
I was working with a virtual alias (it shows up in localhost sub), but when I try to assess the configuration files I get this message. As a matter of fact, none of the system files in the apache menu are available for viewing - get the same message.
I've turned off Skype, but that didn't help.
Thanks in advance

Hi

You give a lot of explanations, but not the indispensable, i.e. the exact and complete error messages and under what circumstances they appear.

Also thank you for answering the note at the top of this forum: Read and answer before asking a question.

" 'Aestan Tray Menu'

{OK}

Windows 7 Pro SP1; Intel Core i7-3770K @ 3.50GHz; 16GB Memory; 64-bit OS
WampServer: 3.0.6 64bit
Apache: 2.4.23
PHP: 5.6.25

MySQL: 5.7.14 Port defined for MySQL: 3306

WampServer icon: Green
LocalHost - Accessible -No message on bottom
McAfee Internet Security
WampServer installed: C:/wamp64

I created a alias and I was trying to access the httpd.config file. I went to my systray and click wamp icon; went to Apache; then click the httpd.config menu item; and that's when I get the message

Hi,

- Verify that all VC ++ packages are installed and with the latest versions.
To do this, use the tool:
Checks VC++ packages installed
And you will find all the packages on [wampserver.aviatechno.net] in section Visual C++ Redistribuable Packages
Do not forget that if you have a 64 bit Windows, you must install both 32 and 64 bit versions of each package.
You must install each package "as an administrator", so right-click the exe file and then run as Administrator.
Do not use a previously loaded tool. Make a new download to make sure you are using the correct version.

Update to Wampserver 3.1.3

In the file wampmanager.conf verify that the paths to applications are correct for lines
navigator=
and
editor=

Hi,

- Download then execute wampserver3_repair_wampini
Repair tool for wampmanager.ini file if it is corrupted or missing. You can download at any time, but install this tool only if you need it, because it takes into account the current configuration of Wampserver.
