Hello Community.

I really appreciate the help you can bring to me.

I'm using Wamp 3.1.3 x64. I made a simple website. All works fine. The problems begins when I want to add a ssl certificate. I use a tutorial I found on Internet. All is quiet simple, but, when I uncomment the line LoadModule ssl_module modules/mod_ssl.so in httpd.conf Apache service doesn't start. The wamp tray icon turn brown not green.

Please, any help will be appreciated.

Dear Sir.

Thanks for your Post. I promise you I will check all those steps in order to solve my issue. Look, digging more deeply into my problem, I realize when I uncomment that line (LoadModule ssl_module modules/mod_ssl.so), Apache continue working fine, but, when I add this line Listen 0.0.0.0:43 to the httpd.conf file is when Apache doesn't start.

Waiting for your support again.

Best Regards

Hallo,

I have the same problem with 3.1.4 64 bit version.

Every time I activate "LoadModule ssl_module modules/mod_ssl.so"
the apache is nor running.
When I make "httpd -t" I get the error, that the "modules/mod_ssl.so was not found.

IO was also following the SSL discription by youtube.

But I was not able to create the certificate and the key. First I needed to overwrite the ssl files in the apache folder from the "Win64 OpenSSL v1.0.2p" installation folder.

Has anyone an idea???!!!

Kind regards....

Hallo,

I did it several times like described in the post but nothing helps.
I still get the error : Cannot load modules/mod_ssl.so into server: Das angegebene Modul wurde nicht gefunden

This is german and means that the module was not found.

I also tried it with the 32 Bit version and get the same error.
Also before of course I installed all the VCs.

I also tried it on an other computer but also the same problem.

Any ideas?!

Kind regards....

Hallo,

I just solved the problem.
The C:\wamp\bin\apache\apache2.4.35\modules\mod_ssl.so file does not fit to the apache server.
I took another one from an other apache download and everything is now working fine. I only changed the .so file...

Thanks for everyone to wrote me. I finally solve my issue and my website is working in https. Only one single question: How I can disable untrusted access to my site? A mean, I want my site open only in https protocol not http.

Thanks!!!
