;WAMPPROJECTSUBMENU rewriting to internet

"My Projects" items in ;WAMPPROJECTSUBMENU are not connecting successfully, and are appearing prepended with www. and appended with .com in the browser URL. The browser (Firefox) then attempts to search online. If not connected online, then error returned, server not found. However, "Your Projects" items on localhost homepage do connect successfully. mod_rewrite is not enabled. How are these items being rewritten and how-to this?
