Server sent charset unknown to the client

Wampserver icon color is Orange

By entering User: root
Passwrod: (empty)

I got the following erroe:

MySQL said: Documentation
#2054 - Server sent charset unknown to the client. Please, report to the developers

and the following message:

phpMyAdmin tried to connect to the MySQL server, and the server rejected the connection. You should check the host, username and password in your configuration and make sure that they correspond to the information given by the administrator of the MySQL server.


What to do to make Wampserver icon color Green ?
