Hi

I think this is a database setting problem:

I'm using MariaDB

If I don't browse my local website for some seconds/minutes, the next first pageload is always very slow.
After that, every load is normal fast, until next pause (I'm working on something in editor).

Is this some kind of database timeout/keep-alive I can adjust?

Hi,

This is more likely to be a mariaDB specific question. We do not support Apache/MySQL/mariaDB/PHP, so not really a question for us.

My guess, from the information you give us is:

mariaDB automatically caches results for a short time. It sounds like this is what you are noticing.
My gut feeling is that if you mess with this it will just cause you other issues somewhere else, but I would start looking at the mariaDB documentation to see if my guess is anywhere near the mark.

After a lot of search and testing, it seems to be because of Malwarebytes..

The problem is gone when I disable Malwarebytes completely.
Got to test it more and find out what excactly to exclude from scan/protection
