Aestan Tray Menu seems to be frozen

I am using WampServer Version 3.0.6 64 bit and am getting the message:
Aestan Tray Menu seems to be frozen. Restarting all services does not fix it.
This seems to happen frequently in recent weeks, with the message often appearing before opening any files on the server.

The programme generated a bug report with an e-mail to submit it, but received a Failure Notice:
Sorry, we were unable to deliver your message to the following address.
<onnod@lycos.com>:
554: 5.7.1 <onnod@lycos.com>: Recipient address rejected: user onnod@lycos.com does not exist.

Is their a new email address to submit bug reports?

Hi,

- Verify that all VC ++ packages are installed and with the latest versions.
To do this, use the tool:
Checks VC++ packages installed
And you will find all the packages on [wampserver.aviatechno.net] in section Visual C++ Redistribuable Packages
Do not forget that if you have a 64 bit Windows, you must install both 32 and 64 bit versions of each package.
You must install each package "as an administrator", so right-click the exe file and then run as Administrator.
Do not use a previously loaded tool. Make a new download to make sure you are using the correct version.

Update to Wampserver 3.1.3

Hi,

- Download then execute wampserver3_repair_wampini
Repair tool for wampmanager.ini file if it is corrupted or missing. You can download at any time, but install this tool only if you need it, because it takes into account the current configuration of Wampserver.

Hello Mod,

I got my wampmanager.iini corrupted as well. When I tried to run wampini_repair.bat as administrator, I got this in my cmd:

C:\WINDOWS\system32>wampmanager.exe -quit -id={wampmanager}
'wampmanager.exe' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.

C:\WINDOWS\system32>copy wampmanager.ini wampmanager.ini
The system cannot find the file specified.

C:\WINDOWS\system3>del wampmanager.ini
Could Not Find C:\WINDOWS\system32\wampmanager.ini

C:\WINDOWS\system32>copy /Y wampmanager.ini.repair wampmanager.ini
The system cannpt find the file specified.

C:\WINDOWS\system32>start /b wampmanager.exe

Although I've put the path folder to c:|wamp64 on the wampini repair installation progress, the running command of wampini_repair.bat is automatically pointing to C:\WINDOWS\system32

How to solve this issue?

Hi,

wampini_repair.bat does not "point" to c:\windows\system32.

Open a command windows as an administrator and within this command windows go to c:\wamp64 then type wampini_repair.bat.

Microsoft Windows [version 6.1.7601]
Copyright (c) 2009 Microsoft Corporation. Tous droits réservés.

C:\Windows\System32>cd /d c:\wamp64

c:\wamp64>wampini_repair.bat
It is possible that then the Wampmanager icon does not turn green on the first shot.
Left-click -> Start all services or Restart all services

Hi,

Problem solved. I opened wampmanager.ini.repair, copied all the text and pasted them to wampmanager.ini.
It works fine now.

Thanks for replying.
