Hi,

Just checking, did you start WAMPServer?
Normally it does not start automatically.

No I'd go to internet explorer and type localhost/phpmyadmin.... that's when the error comes up about DNS temporarily down and the error code Error Code: INET_E_RESOURCE_NOT_FOUND.

so I looked in my 'hidden icons' at the bottom of my screen and it's gone... I've only installed it Saturday, along with 2 x wordpress, went to work on some website design and its all gone..

Is the wamp folder still in the drive you installed it onto, probably C: ?

Hi,

Did you launch Wampserver through its desktop shortcut?
Wampserver never starts automatically when Windows starts, so if you have stopped Windows, Wampserver will not restart itself when Windows restarts.

Here [forum.wampserver.com] is another person that claimed the same thing.

He also claimed it suddenly fixed itself !

Something odd is happening, but as we found no solution try reading all that report and see if anything helps
