Even if I give root and leave the password textbox and on click of submit it shows

#1045 - Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password: YES)

mysqli_real_connect(): (HY000/1045): Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password: YES)

But if I select MariaDB it is going inside but mysql it showing above stated errors
