Unable to import css files

Hi,

I created a custom site using one of WordPress's existing themes. However, when I try to import css files from the parent folder, the site doesn't change in appearance.

The filename in the parent folder is editor-style.css. When I try to import this file into my child folder using this script @import url('../twentysixteen/css/editor-style.css'), nothing happens to the site.

Can anyone suggest a resolution?

Thank you,
Rashida

Hi,

Sorry, this is a development issue and nothing to do with WAMPServer

However I would say the WordPress work better when installed into a Virtual Host and not run from somehting like `wamp/www/mywpsite`

Have a read of this The need for Virtual Hosts

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
(Windows 10 Pro 64bit) (Wampserver 3.3.4 64bit) Aestan Tray Menu 3.2.5.4
<Apache versions MULTIPE> <PHP versions MULTIPLE> <MySQL Versions MULTIPLE>
<MariaDB versions MULTIPLE> <phpMyAdmin versions MULTIPLE> <MySQL Workbench 8.0.23>

Read The Manuals Apache -- MySQL -- PHP -- phpMyAdmin
Get your Apache/MySQL/mariaDB/PHP ADDONs here from the WAMPServer alternate Repo
