Domain name changing back to ip when page loads

When i put my domain name in, it goes to the page. However, it then changes back to the ip in the address bar

i bought a domain name and connected it to my ip address. when i type in the domain name in the address bar, it goes to my website i host with wamp but the domain name doesnt stay in the addres bar but instead has the ip address there.

Ex. i type in www.example.com. it goes to the website but now the address bar says the ip 192.168.1.1(im not giving out my actual ip)
