Hi,
Wampserver is an http and mysql server as are the vast majority of hosters' servers in the world.
With a host, you unzip Wordpress in a folder on your site, but what you are not aware of is that you are ultimately doing it in a VirtualHost.
So, you have to do the same thing with Wampserver, i.e. create a VirtualHost, validate it, then unzip Wordpress in this VirtualHost you just created.
Then, simply calling your VirtualHost, containing Wordpress, by its name will automatically launch the Wordpress installation procedure, for example 'http://mywordpress/'.
