WampServer

Hi all.
Just installed ver 1.6.1 on cleanly installed XP SP2 box. Start it up, and it starts up no problem... but now I can't view phpmyadmin or [localhost] or anything like this. It just sits forever at browser spinning away... previous versions that I just tried are:
wamp5_1.5.0b.exe
and
wamp5_1.6.0.exe
1.5.0b works fine, 1.6.0 doesnt work just like 1.6.1
So it seems there is some problem in 1.6.*...
And no.. its not a firewalling issue and not routing issue.
Btw... all test were done on Firefox 1.0.7 and IE 6.0
Anyone knows whats up with this?

make sure apache is running our you will not be able to access your website.

apache is running ofcourse... still nothing.
does anyone else have this problem on xp sp2?

what OS are you using? do you have skype installed?

wamp can't run properly with skype!!!! now i had uninstaled and using old devserver project...

just change your port in the skype interface, or your apache listen port
jyve, a skype plugin, use also port 80
Perhaps skype tips could be had in the FAQ
