What is the equivalent to the wamp/www folder in ubuntu?

I understand that most files need to be placed in var/www/html folder. Most tutorials that show android to database connectivity involve placing php scripts in the wamp/www folder. Where am I supposed to put the php scripts in ubuntu?

Hi,

WAMP server means Windows Apache Mysql PHP.
For ubuntu you must use a LAMP (Linux Apache Mysql PHP) and ask your question on a forum dedicated to Ubuntu.
