I tried to install WAMP Server 3.0.6 on Windows 10 but there was no mention of PHYMyAdmin or Sqlbuddy during the installation. I don't think I installed it correctly. Can someone help me with installing and using it?

Do you mean you have installed and cannot find phpMyAdmin?

SQLBuddy is dead, we do not supply that anymore as it does not get much maintenance and does not run with PHP7

We now supply phpMyAdmin and Adminer instead.

Because you are part of the sect of "those who click faster than their shadow"
At the end of the installation of Wampserver 3.0.6, there is a message that you have not read since you click on all the buttons without taking the time to read the explanations displayed.

But as I am someone who knows your sect, I have taken the time to repeat the informations you have not read in a file : wamp/read_after_install-english.txt

Hi

In the \wamp folder or if you are using 64bit wamp in the \wamp64 folder

I found the text file. But the thing is, phpMyAdmin didn't seem to be installed. It wasn't one of the things that were listed in the installed section in the installer. and I can't find it in the folder where WAMPServer is.

OMG I am such an idiot! Thank you so much for clarifying that for me! I was wonder why I wasn't getting the right menu options! Now, I am following a video tutorial for using Wamp server, the video shows Wampserver 2, and it asks to setup an SMTP server during the installation phase. I am using Wamp server 3, and there wasn't an option to setup any SMTP server. Is it still needed? How do I set that up?

Hi,

The day you need to manage multiple e-mails from your PHP applications, you can use the PhpMailer "class" and the authenticated SMTP of your Internet service provider.
