mysql didn't start

hi
i have installed the last version of wamp and i get an error starting PhpMyAdmin #2003 - The server is not responding
who has any suggestion how should i fix this problem ?

make sure MySQL is running or you will not be able to access it with your scripts.

i have looked and the mysql was really running but the same error occured and i have checked the config file it was ok. any ideas why this happens ?

bump-

I too have this problem, i am running a ftp server but have disabled the iis host (port 80). was working fine yesterday but this morning.... sad smiley
