Hi I am having some trouble with my user groups/accounts I want to create 3 accounts;

an 'admin' account with all privileges
a 'sectary' account with many privileges and
a 'user' account with some basic privileges.

I want to add multiple users to each level and am confused by the information I am reading, do I have to create a separate table or database to hold the security information i.e. passwords usernames and privileges or would I have to add the password fields to the users data table if so how do I protect the password?

Another quick question is there any advantage/disadvantage to using phpmyadmin over sql lite to construct the database?

I greatly appreciate any help and advice anyone can provide as I am a complete newbie to mysql
