Getting cmd.exe screen when starting wampserver64

I just installed Wampserver64. When I click on the desktop icon I get the black cmd.exe screen for a few seconds - then nothing. I am using Windows 10. Any ideas on what I am doing wrong? Thanks. Mike Fox

That is correct, you should get a blank command window flash on the screen when you start WAMPServer.


It's doing something important, I just cannot remember what!

Hi,

Have you looked in the hidden icons window of the notification area?
Click the vertical chevron to the left of the notification area:

then drag and drop Wampmanager icon in the tray:
