WampServer

I made a misstake and deleted a wampfile(?) which i thought was some kind of virus. Probably It was for the connection to Dbase and Now I cant reach my dbase. Tried both by the virtual way and via phpmyadmin
Can i update Wamp without loosing the daatabase? or what to do?

Is the wampmysqld service started?

Do you have access to the MySQL console?
Left-Click wampmanager tray icon -> MySQL -> MySQL console
When prompted for a password, type the password if you put one to root, or just press the Enter key.

Mysql is not the default database manager since port 3308 is used.

The default handler (port 3306) is MariaDB.

Launch PhpMyAamin and choose MariaDB server.

Bonjour,
I changes the port from 3306 to 3308 according to Skype.
When I try to get back to 3306 it says canceled switch file mariadb is missing or the directory.

Is it possible to only get that back? Or what to do?

The ports assigned to the database managers (3306 to 3308) have STRICTLY nothing to do with Skype.
See point number 03 of TROUBLESHOOTING TIPS

You have deleted files and you do not know which ones.
We do not even know what version of Wampserver you have installed.
You changed a port reserved for MySQL when it was not necessary.
In short, you have "tweaked" in the wrong direction and would like you to be given everything in good condition; do not you think that you exaggerate a little bit!

Right-Click Wampmanager tray icon -> Tools -> Use a port other than 3308
then choose 3306
