WampServer

I have not been able to open connection, check connection successfully using MySQL. Each time I receive the

error message: "the requested URL /contact.php was not found on this server".

The above is followed with: " Apache/2.4.23 (Win32) PHP/5.6.25 Server at localhost Port 80".

Please what do I do in this situation?

That is not a MySQL Error, that looks like an attempt to access a web page that either does not exist, or is not where you thought it was.
