Dear Support

I have static IP 185.2.81.54 which working fine over the internet today i buy domain from godaddy.com and i setup custom dns ns1.wegreenz.com & s2.wegreenz.com with my static 185.2.81.54 and make configuration in wampserver & host file but still not resolve DNS Kindly help me to configure DNS. Your response will be appreciated

Hi,

The HOSTS file will have no effect, it only efects what happens on your specific PC.

Have you setup port forwarding on your Router to allow internat traffic into your network?

I buy server machine from worldstream.nl co, i don't have router access.but when you access from Live ip over the internet you can access via web, here is my Live IP 185.2.81.54 i think port is forward so thats why i can access web via IP

NS1.wegreenz.com 185.2.81.54
NS2.wegreenz.com 185.2.81.54

and update my domain DNS and then make setting in host file & V-host file

Remove these 2 lines from the Virtual host definition

serveralias ns1.wegreenz.com
serveralias ns2.wegreenz.com

Change this line

ServerAlias www.wegreenz.com

ns1.wegreenz.com and ns2.wegreenz.com are your DNS Servers and nothing to do with your web site.

Are you running your own DNS Servers? We are not hear to support you with your own DNS namesevers!

i am not using any DNS server i don't know how to link i am just using Wamp server, i want to know how i link wamp server with domain which i register with godaddy

I fear I am very confused as to what you have and have not done.

You should configure the GoDaddy DNS Servers to point to your external IP Address, and that is all you need to do with DNS Servers,

You should then setup a Virtual Host using the `ServerName` parameter containing the name of your domain.

ServerName wegreenz.com
ServerAlias www.wegreenz.com

Can you explain me how to configure mimes.types with apache server, when i want to run the virtualhost like roundcubemail on the wampserver???
I just obtain a wrong access, "connexion échoué" , imap rcube error.....and i can't access login user and password as are in mysql data base server that run well (and phpmyadmin also) !
