Phpmyadmin authentication with AD credentials using LDAP

Hello all,

I have installed WampServer3. The only reason I have installed this was to use phpmyadmin for a small database. I don't have an actual page for the database itself, just plan to work straight from phpmyadmin.

I have a few users (3-5ish) that are going to also need access to phpmyadmin. I realize that phpmyadmin has its own user account tab where you can create users, however I've been told I can use LDAP to connect to AD and log into phpmyadmin with AD credentials. This would be much easier as it would be 1 less account to remember login info for. If this is possible, please let me know and how I would go about getting this to work.

Just some extra info, on the phpinfo page, under LDAP it says:
LDAP support: enabled
RCS Version: $Id: 5ffc17b96f6abc34bc3607bc1131ea7a79586613 $
Total Links: 0/unlimited
API Version: 3001
Vendor Name: OpenLDAP
Vendor Version : 20433
SASL Support: Enabled

DirectiveLocal Value Master Value
ldap.max_links Unlimited Unlimited

Hi,

Please see my Signature block for links to the phpMyAdmin user manual.

Here is the result of a quick google search which suggests to me that it is in fact a different tool phpLdapAdmin that can utilize LDAP.
