Hi,
I am going to install cakePHP framework under wamp, Is there some side effects? I do that for my zend projects which are next to my joomla projects.
If I do that, Will be some side effects on my joomla projects or wamp itself?

There is no reason to expect that as long as you are doing things properly.

But remember we cannot see what you have done currently so we cannot give you guarantees.

If you are in any way worried, and as a metter of course, make sure you have your current sites and databases properly backed up. But you should be doing that anyway.

See [forum.wampserver.com] as using a Virtual Host for each of your projects is always the recommended way.

Read The Manuals Apache -- MySQL -- PHP -- phpMyAdmin
Get your Apache/MySQL/mariaDB/PHP ADDONs here from the WAMPServer alternate Repo
