WampServer

I want to use my Laptop to Develop my Joomla Website.
I am just starting out with a SIMPLE homepage of index.html text.


My wamp Localhost is working fine.

When I use the WAMP "Add a Virtual Host" utility, it seemed to edit all the files correctly with myproject.

I have restarted Windows & WAMP.

When I enter into Firefox browser url:
myproject

==>Browser goes to Google Search screen

When I enter into Firefox browser url:
localhost/myproject

==>Browser displays "Index of myproject" file hyperlinks

I want my test "C:/wamp64/www/myproject/index.html" to automatically open
...same as when I enter "localhost" & wampserver index file is lauched.

My Configuration:

My laptop: WampServer Version 3.0.6 64bit on my Windows 8.1 64bit
latest Firefox browser: 54.0.1 (32-bit)

First upgrade to WAMPServer 3.0.9 [wampserver.aviatechno.net]

Then please show us the httpd-vhosts.conf file.

Im Uninstalling & Installing as you requested.

Just to be sure & Clean things up...

I Uninstalled WAMP & ReInstalled latest WAMP.


Then I did as you instructed... & Installed Upgrade 3.0.9


It works!!!!
