Apache server doesn't start

Hi!
I already install wapm on my pc at work an everything is fine.Today i tryed to install wamp at home and the Apace server it doesn't work. I use windows xp .
I tryed 2 times to uninstall and install again. I doesn't start.
Any idea?

Skype is the other reason Apache wont run.
Stop Skype. Some even uninstall it.

apache also has problems running with nortion internert security installed

My apache isnt starting as well. Mysql service works fine. If i check on apache serveice, everythink is blank (i can't start or resume) onless "install service" and "remove service" arent blank but none of those do anythink.
I uninstall skype and no changes.
What is IIS, do i need IIS to make it work ?

make sure you firewall is not blocking apache

I fix my problem. All you have to do, if you have skype is:
1. Open skype
2. Options-> connections
3. UNCHECK "Use port 80 and 443 as alternatives for incoming connections"
4. Restart
5.Good luck, learn hard and have fun

i got the same prob when i install iis, is there a way to fix this? Also, is it possible to have both apache and iis running together?
