WampServer

Hi,
As the title suggests i installed the new WAMPServer 3 in win8.1 and have just been trying to integrate adminer. While browsing the Forum Sticky topic: "WAMPServer 3 All you need to know" i noticed that there is a link to download WampServer 3 with Adminer included. I'd already used the download link on the home page to get my version but i wish i had seen the adminer version because i wanted adminer instead of sqlbuddy.

My question: How do i replace SQLBuddy with Adminer? - i believe it involves the 'alias' and 'apps' directories in the main c:\WAMP directory.

Hi,

Install Adminer, verify it works, then quit Wampserver.
Delete alias of Sqlbuddy and apps/Sqlbuddy directory.

Surely i must have to create an adminer.config file virtual host file as with the other aliases - i'll try and see what happens ...

I managed to do it by just :

1. copying the virtuahost .conf file in the alias dir for sqlbuddy and changing the details to adminer
2. copying adminer (the single file named, adminer-4.2.4.php) into a folder called adminer and put in apps folder. Changed its name to index.php.

Now i have can have sqlbuddy and adminer wahaay!!

Im going to try this with some other third party tools; ill post my HowTo's in this forum to help other users ...

I'm getting a better understanding of WampServer the more i use it - its really excellent/easy app and works brilliantly. I tried Xampp for half an hour and hated it. WampServer is rockin ....
