404 not found when trying to create Virtual Host

I am new to Wampserver and web technology in general.

I have set up Wampserver v3 successfully and have used it with Wordpress no problems.

When I click on localhost from the Wampserver icon in the Windows system tray it brings up Server Configuration, Tools, Your Projects, Your VirtualHost and Your Aliases.

I have followed the instructions to create a virtual host....
[forum.wampserver.com]

I don't see this....
- Click on "Start the automatic correction of errors inside the green borders panel"

But I'm able to follow all the other steps fine.

When I click on the just created Virtual Host and/or Project I get "404 not found" error in Chrome.

I'm at my wits end with this

PLEASE REMEMBER I'M A BEGINNER

No idea, is this not done automatically when you create a virtual host? What do I need to do or if you could point me in the right direction?
