I spent a bit of time installing 3.0.6, wamp has never been this difficult to install. Finally I got it running only by the help of Otomatic link here: [wampserver.aviatechno.net]
Yes some the information there are in some previous threads on this forum but they are scattered, the Otamatic link kind of collated it and I only managed to come across it while clicking the next button to try installing again. There are also some instructions in those readme notices in the installation window but can be easily missed.
I understand some of this difficulty in installation was as a result of the new developments in the way some of the components, particularly Apache have now been published.
To reduce the amount of people pulling their head and looking for alternative, I'll suggest the link: [wampserver.aviatechno.net] be positioned more conspicously on the [wampserver.com] site. Best as part of the main menu.
