I recently wanted to uninstall wamp, but in the act of removing,
the www folder also got removed with the created projects.
Is there a way to retrieve the www folder + files without a system
backup?

Before the uninstallation procedure actually starts, you are warned:

WARNING: If you have not backed up your local sites and your databases they will be destroyed.

Do you really want to uninstall Wampserver?
