WampServer

Got Wampserver 3 (32 bit) installed - but now when I try to open the old 2.2 server (when the new one is off) the new Apache/php/mySQL turns on instead of the old ones.

Any ideas?

Hi,

The services wampapache and wampmysqld are the same for all versions of wampserver 32 bit.
It is therefore the last installed version of Wampserver that has priority.

There is a possibility to run your old version 2.2, but it will have to be applied every time.

Exit all Wampserver versions. Open a command Windows as an administrateur (It must by the term "Administrator" in the title of the command window.) then type:

sc delete wampapache
sc delete wampmysqld

Launch the desired version of Wampserver (2.2 or 3), but since there are no more services, the icon will not be green.

- Icône Wampmanager -> Apache -> Service -> Install service
- Icône Wampmanager -> MySQL -> Service -> Install service
- Icône Wampmanager -> Start all services

Okay - that makes sense. I only really needed the old version to check my old mySQL data.
