I want to have www and databases placed into the directory that is backed up (Dropbox). I changed some files AFTER install and it seems to work fine yesterda, but today Wampserver does not start at all.

I would like to reinstall Wampserver but rather to have the directory's changed during the install.

Is there an "advanced install" option where you can set the directory's?

Hi,

NO. And there will be no such option.

The displacement of the local sites outside Wampserver tree is done only by the use of VirtualHost.

localhost should never be moved, so that the wamp/www/ folder must not be moved or changed.

As for the displacement of databases, this must be done only by the my.ini file option "datadir= xxxx"
