Using: wampserver3.0.6_x64_apache2.4.23_mysql5.7.14_php5.6.25-7.0.10


Hi,
I have installed Wamp server on 12 computers successfully but on 1 it wont install and go green. I have tried 10 times. When I run a test using port 80 I get the error: Warning: chmod(): Permission denied in C:\wamp64\scripts\config.inc.php on line 99

Your port 80 is not actually used.

...I have all the dependecies installed and wampserver goes red but never green stating "local server none of 2 services running"

...restarting services doesnt work wither.

Any fix please?

Hi,


It seems that "C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts" file is not writable and the permissions of the file cannot be modified.

See item 09 and (Note 2) of TROUBLESHOOTING TIPS
