Hi all,
I have a little issue with wamp services under W10.

After W10 anual update months ago, when i start my PC, both services apache and mysqld are started by default although they are configured as manual start up on windows service manager.
Wamp application (tray menu) is not started but services are running when i see task manager, so i can access my local sites as usual, which i really dont want.

This behaviour doesnt occur when i exit wamp server before shutdown PC.

Does anybody have same issue or knows how can we prevent services to start automatically ???

I am using wamp server 3.0.6 64bit

Thank you
Regards

You should always EXIT WAMPServer before you ShutDown the PC.

This gives MySQL the ability to close down cleanly and reduces the possibility of accidental database corruption.

(Windows 10 Pro 64bit) (Wampserver 3.3.4 64bit) Aestan Tray Menu 3.2.5.4
<Apache versions MULTIPE> <PHP versions MULTIPLE> <MySQL Versions MULTIPLE>
<MariaDB versions MULTIPLE> <phpMyAdmin versions MULTIPLE> <MySQL Workbench 8.0.23>

Read The Manuals Apache -- MySQL -- PHP -- phpMyAdmin
Get your Apache/MySQL/mariaDB/PHP ADDONs here from the WAMPServer alternate Repo

Ok thank you for your advise. I have used wamp server for several years now and never got any trouble but i will follow your advise from now on. Thanks.

Anyway, finally i guess i know why wamp services start with windows 10. It is because the "fast startup" feature in W10. I already disabled and it seems both services doesnt start automatically.

I will update this post in case any new.

Thank you all.
