How to update database without losing any previous info?

Hi guys,

I'm not very adept with databases and mySQL so please forgive my ignorance in advance.

I've been using Wamp over the past 2 days to update my current wordpress theme to a new one. All this I've been doing locally. But, since that time, my remote site has been added to with new info. So I'd like to update the database on my local Wamp with all the new work I've done on the live site but without losing my previous amendments.

Is this possible?

If so, could some be kind enough to baby walk me through exactly how this can be done? I'd really appreciate any help.

Thanks in advance.

Your best bet would be to ask on the WordPress forum.

Read The Manuals Apache -- MySQL -- PHP -- phpMyAdmin
Get your Apache/MySQL/mariaDB/PHP ADDONs here from the WAMPServer alternate Repo
