WampServer

Hi,

I installed Wamp3 and wamp 2.5 aside but apparently wamp3 takes 'www' folder from wamp 2.5

discarding its configuration settings and picking the folder of the last installed wamp



since we develop old and new apps on the same machine, this is a huge problem

The services for Wampserver 2.5 and 3 have the same names, so the installation of Wampserver 3 has taken the place of Wampserver 2.5.
You should have read: Install a new release of Wampserver

For your information, Wampserver 3 supports PHP versions from 5.3.0 to 7.1.0 and you can manage as many PHP versions as you want with a single installation of Wampserver 3.
On the other hand, I would like to point out that there is a Wampserver 2.5 update to Wampserver 3.0.3 which modifies none of the versions Apache, PHP or MySQL that you use, but which allows to add other versions of PHP , Apache, or MySQL.

Note : If you want it, it is possible to recover the correct operation of your version of Wampserver 2.5, provided that you did not crush it by the installation of Wampserver 3.
